Lily- Rose is double of dad Depp
WITH her moody brown eyes and model good looks Lily- Rose Depp shows she’s a chip off the old block during a rare public appearance this week.
The 15- year- old has clearly inherited actor father Johnny Depp’s striking dark features and mother Vanessa Paradis’ sense of style – turning heads at the Chanel Metiers d’Art show in New York on Tuesday.
She was accompanied by her French musician and actress mother, 42, but there was no sign of her doppelganger daddy.
The teenager, who is about to follow in her famous parents’ footsteps with the lead role in comedy horror Yoga Hosers, due for release in June, slotted in effortlessly with the Apple’s fashionista crowd.
In a blue bandeau top and calf- length skirt Lily- Rose displayed the catwalk elegance of her mother, a longtime muse of Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld.
Former child star Paradis split from Pirates Of The Caribbean actor Depp, 51, in 2012. The couple also have a son, Jack, aged 12.
Despite them being the spitting image of each other, Depp has admitted there are days that he cannot do anything right as far as his teenage daughter is concerned.
He said recently: “She’s a sharp kid, very sophisticated,
Big super intelligent and, uh, scary. She could be the sweetest thing in the world, which most of the time she is, and suddenly I’m in trouble for something.”
In Yoga Hosers, directed by Kevin Smith, Lily- Rose plays a Canadian yoga enthusiast who must tackle an ancient evil.
Her father has a small role in the film.
This week it was revealed Depp has had surgery on his hand which has postponed production of Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth in the Pirates Of The Caribbean series.
In February this year the Hollywood A- lister married actress Amber Heard, 28, with whom he starred in The Rum Diary in 2009. Looking the image of her father Johnny, Lily- Rose Depp at the Chanel Metiers d’Art show in New York with her mother, French star and fashionista Vanessa Paradis, below
