‘ His and hers’ luxury homes go for £ 13m
A PAIR of matching “his and hers” luxury homes in an exclusive seaside community are on the market for £ 13million.
The near- identical houses stand just a few feet apart and are being sold either individually or as a pair if a wealthy couple want the independence of neighbouring properties.
The beach- front homes, called La Plage and La Baie, share a 3,000 square yard plot on the “millionaires’ row” Sandbanks peninsula in Poole, Dorset – the fifth most expensive place in the world for property.

A three- bedroom house had occupied the site until it was bought for £ 4.25million and then demolished. Developers made use of every inch by splitting the plot in two and building the two four- storey houses.
It is thought the development work cost more than £ 3million. The houses are now on the market for £ 6.5million each.
One has five en- suite bedrooms and the other four. Both have indoor pools, balconies, lifts, direct beach access and magnificent sea views. Former West Ham football manager Harry Redknapp is a near neighbour.
Tom Doyle, of estate agents Lloyds Property Group, said: “These properties are very much high end in terms of quality. It would be nice to sell them as a pair, to someone who either wants to live in one and rent out the other, or even to a couple who want their own his and hers homes.”
