THEY just can’t help themselves can they?

Just as EU bureaucrats deceitfully hold back from announcing any proposals that may undermine Britain’s sovereignty during our referendum campaign, news leaks that they plan to centralise the process for deciding who should get asylum across the EU by creating a new agency.

Those who want us to remain in the EU point out that we will have a so- called “opt out” from this crazy new initiative.

But just how effective is this when after a few short years those granted asylum in the EU will be able to “opt in” to the free movement of people across the whole of the EU – including coming to live in the UK?

If EU elites create a central bureaucracy to process asylum applications then it will have to be supported by an expanded EU border force.

Already Germany is offering its personnel – under the auspices of the new “EU border protection agency” Frontex – to help Greece police its national borders. If Greece agrees it will effectively be giving up control of who enters the country to the EU.

This plan to put people in EU uniforms follows proposals to create an EU army, presumably to make sure those who agree to let Frontex take over their borders can never change their minds.

Letting the EU sort out Europe’s migration crisis, that Mrs Merkel’s disastrous opendoor asylum policy has caused, is like entering a partnership with a con artist who crashes into your car, demands that you pay them to fix it and then tells you who, when and where you can drive it. We must get out.

We must vote Leave.
