Just in case anyone needed reminding that the 73- year- old used to be in the world’s biggest band, he decided to give the gathered crowd of fashion afi cionados an impromptu performance, minus an instrument and complete with rather cringeworthy expression. We do hope Stella saw the funny side… but we wouldn’t count on it!
