Red, white and blue for Brexit premiere stars
THE chance of a glimpse of life in a Britain outside the EU brought a red carpet audience to London’s Leicester Square.
The premiere of Brexit: The Movie, a documentary directed by former BBC producer Martin Durkin, attracted stars from the worlds of showbiz and politics such as Ukip leader Nigel Farage and Brexit-supporting model and TV presenter Lizzie Cundy on Wednesday evening.
Mr Farage said the film was a counterpoint to the Governmentfunded pro-EU leaflet which was sent to every UK household.
He praised readers who have rallied to the Daily Express crusade to get Britain out of the EU saying: “I think the Express has probably the most sensible readership in the entire country.”
And he urged voters to go out on referendum day, June 23 and “make it UK Independence Day”.
