Actor Robson takes break from filming to rescue cliff fall pensioner

shouting for help. He tried to get down to him and called the coastguard, who sent a rescue crew to bring the man to safety.

“All recognition should go to them. Robson said he only did what anyone else would have done in the circumstances. He hopes the gentleman is OK and gave all his praise to the rescue team.”

Robson was in Devon filming ITV documentary Tales From The Coast.

The actor, who sang on the 1995 No 1 hit Unchained Melody with Jerome Flynn, left his hotel yesterday without commenting on the incident.
