WE ARE getting taller. The average person stands four inches above their counterpart from a century ago. If this continues then BFGs will become commonplace. Meanwhile Dutch men are taller than everyone else and Latvian women rarely need high heels.

Tall people are also healthier and more successful though are more likely to bang their head on low doorframes.
