Paltrow wants to distance herself from controvers­ial website Goop.

The actress, who founded the lifestyle site in 2008 to “nourish people’s souls”, claims she wants to step back because her associatio­n with it is stunting its growth. “I’d like it to be its own brand. My dream is one day no one will remember that I had anything to do with it.”

The self-proclaimed nutrition/ parenting/lifestyle/fashion/travel expert’s announceme­nt follows her distress about being voted The World’s Most Hated Celebrity in America’s Star magazine last month.
