VINNIE Jones, former footballer, actor and all-round hardman (left) presents a number of stories detailing police officers in action. Tonight’s tales from the boys in blue include a potential hostage situation in Essex and what could very well be the fussiest felon in Britain. There is also footage from the Lincolnshire force, which sees officers hot on the heels of a burglar. Finally, a roadside stop results in a huge bag of cannabis being discovered. AFTER stealing from Sandy, Gabby finds herself turned in to the police by Ashley. However, under further questioning it is he who struggles to cope with the whole episode. Feeling betrayed, she uses the bruises she suffered during the robbery as a weapon against her father. Elsewhere, Holly sets out to talk to Victoria but finds her path blocked by an angry Simon (Liam Ainsworth, above right, with Sophie Powles as Holly).

THERE is an explosive end to this series tonight as Grimaud declares war on the Musketeers, who are still blinded by grief, and starts by targeting the ones they love. They must stick together and work closely with their followers to protect a city which is facing its most persistent enemy and is on the brink of destruction. As the fight rumbles on, the heart of the city of Paris becomes a battleground and Grimaud pushes Athos to his very limits. Tom Burke, Howard Charles, Santiago Cabrera and Luke Pasqualino (left to right) star and fans of this show really need to make the most of tonight’s episode as the end is near for the Musketeers, after the BBC confirmed this third series will be the final one.

AFTER starting brightly this show has fizzled out somewhat but we reach the penultimate episode and it’s all going on in the pub. It’s Russell and Dawn’s wedding reception and there are flare-ups, heart-to-hearts and a few shocks in store. The father of the bride appears on the scene but whether he is there to cause trouble or make amends remains to be seen. Stars Sophie Rundle and Chloe Pirrie (above).

Motoring: How Safe Is Your Car? Channel 4 Dispatches, 8pm, CH4

MORLAND Sanders is like a dog with a bone when he gets going. On the back of last year’s emissions scandal, the investigative reporter (right) asks whether or not we can now trust claims made by manufacturers and testers. Building from there, he looks at whether or not companies are recalling vehicles quickly enough in the face of problems and if they are doing enough to protect consumers.
