NOTHING BUGGING THE BEATLES

-

THE BEATLES legendary music is being used for the first time ever as the soundtrack for a new animation series.

Sir Paul McCartney is believed to be delighted that his band’s famous work will be brought to a whole new audience in 13-episode cartoon Beat Bugs, airing on popular TV streaming service Netflix.

Several tracks, including Help! and I’m A Loser, are covered by a bevy of stars, including James Corden and rock veteran Rod Stewart.

Day & Night was at the exclusive launch with excited viewers from age three up, at London’s Swanky Ham Yard hotel to witness the songs come to life in the stories about five friendly bugs that get themselves into mischief. Speaking of recruiting Rod Stewart, the Australian filmmaker Josh Wakely says: “He was a contemporary of [The Beatles] and he was very careful to watch the animation before he agreed to be involved.”

Josh is the first to successfully persuade the notoriously protective publishers of The Beatles catalogues to get on board.
