“IS regards Mr Uddin’s healing methods as black magic and adheres to the view that those who engage in it deserve severe punishment, even death.
“In early 2016, Syeedy and Kadir mounted surveillance upon Jalal Uddin and developed a hatred of him.”
The court heard Syeedy denies supporting IS.
He accepts that Kadir killed Mr Uddin and admits he was with Kadir before and after the killing.
But he claims he had no idea that Kadir was going to attack Mr Uddin.
He says he played no part in the murder.
