Yes

IT is always a surprise to me that any of today’s young royals ever find partners (“Star Jenna goes all coy when asked about Harry”, August 23). The intensely personal and intrusive media attention is enough to put anyone off.

Every little innocent contact Prince Harry makes is blown up out of all proportion and examined in every detail of each touch, glance or smile and inference is put thereon. For goodness sake leave the chap alone and stop the speculating as it is certain you will scare them all off and he’ll end up a bitter bachelor. Peter Hyde, Driffield, E Yorks

No

BEING a member of the Royal Family and also being an attractive, eligible young bachelor does put Prince Harry well and truly in the spotlight. The royal role comes with many perks but also, by its nature, there are demands too.

It is understandable that there is a huge public interest in the lives of all the young royals and they are able to use this to great effect in their work with several charities.

But the down side of this is that their every move is scrutinised and for those with a life of privilege, there is, unfortunately, no such thing as a private life. Patrick Thomas,
