Bat man to the rescue
CHELSEA needed new £33million signing Michy Batshuayi to score twice on his full debut last night as they were run close by League One newcomers Bristol Rovers.
Batshuayi scored either side of a strike from Victor Moses but Rovers pushed them all the way with goals from Peter Hartley and Ellis Harrison before the home side held out to win 3-2.
Liverpool romped to a 5-0 victory over Burton but suffered two injury scares with midfielder Emre Can and opening goalscorer Divock Origi both going off in worrying fashion.
