A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was one of six people stabbed at this year’s Notting Hill Carnival.

More than 300 people were arrested for offences including carrying drugs and knives as thousands turned out for the annual two-day street party in west London.

The teenage stab victim was in a critical condition but was last night “stable” in hospital following the knifing on Sunday at 4.25pm, police said.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested.

Scotland Yard confirmed that 85 of the arrests were drugrelated and officers seized a total of 26 knives.

Other people were held for public order and sexual offences, plus assaults.

It was the 50th anniversary of the colourful event. Last night saw the grand finale, with music by 60 bands.

London Ambulance Service said it had treated 411 people, of whom 74 were taken to hospital.

They were tweeting advice to revellers during the event and said: “Wear sunscreen, drink water, look after your friends and don’t drink too much – but we’re here if you need us.”
