CHRISTMAS jumpers give a festive look to the Royal family at Madame Tussauds.

The waxworks museum in London has decked out its figures of the Queen, Prince Philip, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry in woollies.

And for the photo real-life corgis – also sporting tiny woollen tops – joined in.

William and Kate looked extra cosy in a giant double-fronted woolly for two.

The museum is helping Save the Children to promote the charity’s Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, December 16.

Inspired

Young and old alike will be encouraged to wear a festive top and donate money in aid of children around the world.

The royal wax figures will be on display wearing the lighthearted knits throughout December so visitors can grab a selfie photo alongside them.

Charity spokeswoman Helena Wiltshire said: “We’re hoping more people will don their woollies and pay £2 to help raise money.

“Who knows, maybe the Queen will feel inspired to do her annual speech in a more laid back get-up this year.”
