Dinner lady has done well

SINGLE mum Rosalind Brotherton went from working as a dinner lady to becoming headteacher of a school in just nine years. Along the way she had to study for an Open University degree and do her teaching qualifications all while looking after her three sons and taking on a series of jobs in different schools.

This took exceptional hard work and dedication. When it comes to being a worthy role model for her pupils Ms Brotherton is top of the class.
