Clooney baby rumours run rife...despite Amal giving slim indication
ALL eyes are on Amal Clooney amid reports that she is carrying twins.
Several magazines and newspapers have been busy speculating that the Lebanese-British human rights lawyer is pregnant.
However, the evidence appeared inconclusive when she stepped out with movie star husband George at a glitzy bash in Switzerland.
The 38-year-old and her 55-year-old Oscar-winning husband, who wed in 2014, were special guests at the Women Of Impact dinner in Davos on Tuesday.
Speculation
Mrs Clooney was all smiles as she met powerful figures from the world of politics, including outgoing US vicepresident Joe Biden, 74.
Speculation is running high on whether or not she is pregnant but her figure did not give much of a clue.
One guest said: “She and George looked very relaxed and happy.
“She looked slender stunning to be honest.”
Mrs Clooney had earlier and appeared to show off a bump in a floral dress she wore for a screening of a movie about the conflict in Syria, The White Helmets, in London on January 9.
One magazine and a number of Lebanese newspapers claim the couple are eagerly anticipating the birth of twins. They also claim that Clooney, who was for many years one of the world’s most eligible bachelors, is delighted at the prospect of fatherhood.
A source said: “He has gone from never wanting to be a father to being totally excited about Amal’s pregnancy and the thought of raising two children who’ll call him dad.
“He has been doting on Amal’s every need and doting on her belly.
“He’s also having a blast coming up with baby names.”
Incredible
The source added: “George is going to be an incredible father.
“He has been a bachelor for so long that most people don’t realize how great he is with kids.”
The couple, who have a £12million home in Sonning, Berkshire, are said to be expecting a boy and a girl with the actor keen on the name Nicholas for the boy.
His wife is reported to be considering the girl’s name.
