Elvis granddaughters taken into care after ‘child porn found on their dad’s computer’
ELVIS Presley’s twin granddaughters have been taken into care after their mother Lisa Marie Presley claimed to have found indecent photographs of children on their father’s computer.
Social workers in California took eight-year-old Finley and Harper away from their parents until a court hearing to decide who they should live with.
Police are also understood to be conducting an inquiry into whether the hundreds of snaps and videos on Michael Lockwood’s device warrant a criminal prosecution.
Details emerged in court documents filed as part of 49-year-old Lisa Marie’s increasingly bitter divorce battle from guitarist Lockwood, 55.
She said in the papers: “I was shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach.
Consent
“My understanding is that Tennessee law enforcement is also conducting an investigation related to the photos and videos that I discovered.”
Lisa Marie, the rock and roll icon’s only child, married Lockwood 11 years ago in a lavish £275,000 ceremony in Japan.
She had been wed three times before, to husbands including pop legend Michael Jackson and Hollywood star Nicolas Cage.
The court papers say Beverly Hills police raided their home, taking away 80 of Lockwood’s computer devices, which have yet to be returned.
Lockwood is demanding £32,000 a month in maintenance, despite a pre-nuptial agreement stating neither can claim on the other’s wealth. Lisa Marie said she has spent most of her £240million fortune and mostly lives with friends and relatives, including her mother Priscilla and her actress daughter Riley Keough.
She also suggested Lockwood had taken her funds using her credit card without consent.
Although she owns Coes Hall, a 15th-century mansion near Rotherfield, East Sussex, she claims her debts on it exceed its market value.
“Since we relocated in California in June I have not travelled out of state,” she said. “I have not flown in any airplane in over 18 months.”
Lisa Marie will seek custody of the twins at a court hearing due next month.
She has one other child, Benjamin, 24, by her first husband, bass guitarist Danny Keough, who is also father of Riley, 27.
She married Jackson less than a month after her divorce from Keough came through – at the time when child abuse allegations began to be levelled at the singer.
“I believed he didn’t do anything wrong and that he was wrongly accused,” she said later.
“I started falling for him. I wanted to save him.”
A whirlwind romance with Cage ended with a Hawaii wedding in 2002.
However, he filed for divorce after 108 days and Lisa Marie married Lockwood, who played guitar in her band, in 2006. She filed for divorce last June. Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis, left, with her twin daughters Harper and Finley, who have been taken into care following allegations against their father over ‘child porn images’
