Fur flies as Fox hounds a law-abiding chain gang

THE actor Laurence Fox writes with great disdain about cyclists (“Laurence slams ‘two-wheel fascists’”, February 16).

I am a 73-year-old cyclist already past a heart attack and weighing in at some 9st 7lb; hardly a “fat Lance Armstrong” as Laurence saw.

Yes I wear Lycra because it is the most suitable clothing for riding.

My speed is between 10 and 15mph. I agree that there are bike riders who dodge between traffic and weave on and off the pavement but don’t tar us all with the same brush. John Gardiner, Ipswich
