Kinnock’s 90,000 reasons a year to fight Article 50

- Alan Burns, Whitehaven, Cumbria

IN most walks of life anyone who has a vested interest in a topic would be barred from taking part in any discussion on that topic. It is known as conflict of interest.

I refer to the Lords Mandelson and Kinnock who have stated they intend to ignore the will of the electorate by attempting to thwart the triggering of Article 50.

Could the reason be that Mandelson has an estimated pension from the EU of £35,000 whereas Kinnock has many more reasons, around £90,000 a year?

The time has arrived for our Prime Minister to kick off her kitten heels, sharpen her claws and savage these unelected individuals that comprise the House of Lords.
