Ordinary folk would sort out Brexit in a fortnight

PETER Hill (By The Way, February 21) was quite right when he stated that Brexit should be a simple process and that a bunch of ordinary people could sort it all out in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately the UK negotiators will not be dealing with a bunch of ordinary people. They will be facing a bunch of vindictive bureaucrats determined to punish this country for having the nerve to wish to leave their beloved union before it comes crashing down on all our heads.
