Now Vicky the TV villain flaunts a killer outfit on the red carpet

- By Peter Henn

MILLIONS have seen her as a callous murderer in BBC thriller The Replacement.

And next week she’s back on our screens playing “good cop” Detective Sergeant Kate Fleming in the new series of hit police drama Line Of Duty.

But last night Vicky McClure showed she could be a killer on the red carpet as she wowed fans at the Empire film awards and stole the show when she arrived wearing a revealing off-white belted trouser suit.

The 33-year-old brunette, who won a Bafta for her role in This Is England ’86, matched her outfit with high-heeled black sandals.

But she was not the only star who turned heads on the red carpet.

Tom Hiddleston, star of The Night Manager and Kong: Skull Island, looked his usual stylish self and was delighted to pick up Empire’s Hero Award.

Downton Abbey star Joanne Froggatt wore a sheer black skirt, sandals and a plunging top that showed off her cleavage.

The former Coronation Street actress carried a small purse to round off her dramatic look.

Newcomer Stefanie Martini also looked stunning in a long black dress with a keyhole neckline and lace sleeves. The 26-year-old star of ITV’s Prime Suspect 1973 plays the young Jane Tennison, the police detective made famous by Dame Helen Mirren.

And Dan Stevens, who is the star of the new live action version of Beauty And The Beast with Emma Watson, cut a striking figure in his red suit.

The star-studded ceremony at the Roundhouse in London saw Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them the night’s top winner.
