Unfunny Red Nose Day is a joke that has fallen flat

I’M sorry and I feel I feel awful saying this but I thought Red Nose Day was absolutely dreadful (“Comic Relief end of night total revealed but Red Nose Day viewers slam ‘shambles’ show”, March 25).

I thought it was just me but lots of my friends have said the same. It didn’t flow, there were just old comedians who have had their day and younger ones who were foul-mouthed. I didn’t give them any money because I think £10 is too much, £5 is ample.

I wonder if these so-called stars paid in £10 or did they get paid for being on the show? I think many turned off this programme after so looking forward to it.

I think this idea for raising money has had its day. Hopefully someone will come up with a new idea before the next one.
