Noble calling for fan power

MARK NOBLE has issued yet another rallying call as West Ham prepare for the biggest game of their season.

Wednesday’s 3-0 loss at Arsenal was their fifth in a row. They host third-bottom Swansea tomorrow and can take a giant step towards safety with a victory.

Defeat, however, would bring the Swans to within just two points. “It’s the biggest game we have had for a long time,” said Hammers skipper Noble.

“We need to get the three points, simple as. We have Swansea and Sunderland in the next two and we need points in both of those games to ease the pressure.

“We need the fans on Saturday for sure, all of them in full voice and let’s hope we can reward them with three points.”

Swansea manager Paul Clement is hoping Fernando Llorente will be fit enough to lead the line. Llorente, 32, has missed the last two games with an ankle injury but Clement may now get his talisman, the club’s top scorer with 11 goals, to help Swansea move out of the relegation zone.

“Fernando wasn’t ready to play against Tottenham but he has trained well in the last two days,” said Clement. “We’re now hoping he’s going to be in the squad for Saturday.”

Swansea are two points adrift of the safety zone and have not won in four games.

Clement is looking for a response from his players after the capitulation against Tottenham on Wednesday, which saw his team concede three late goals in the space of six minutes, as they lost 3-1.

Clement said: “West Ham are a team who have had their own troubles recently, so we have to go there believing we can get a result.”
