Fury as Blair says vote for anti- Brexit Tories
TONY Blair yesterday hinted about a return to frontline politics to build a new alliance to thwart Theresa May’s Brexit.
The former Labour prime minister confessed to “almost” feeling motivated to stand on June 8.
He also urged voters to back MPs of any party who were committed to stopping a full break with Brussels.
Tory campaign chiefs last night accused Blair of encouraging a “coalition of chaos” that could power Labour to victory.
A Tory spokesman said: “At this serious moment for our country, we need strong and stable leadership – and that is exactly what you will get with Theresa May and her Conservative team.
