gave a show of support to fellow Hollywood legends this weekend. The Raging Bull actor hit the red carpet alongside Burt Reynolds and Chevy Chase at the screening of the pair’s new film Dog Years during the Tribe ca Film Festival in New York.

While Robert, 73, and National Lampoon’s Vacation star Chevy, also 73, stood posing for photographers, Burt, 81, looked a little frail at the photo call and had to sit on a stool with his walking cane in hand. When the Boogie Nights star eventually stood up for a group photo, he seemed in pain and relied on his actor pals to assist him and allow him to lean on them for support.

Not that no longer being sprightly means Burt will be slowing down anytime soon.

Apart from being the lead in Dog Years – where, ironically, he plays an ageing former movie star forced to face the reality that his glory days are behind him–the actor has three other films set for release this year.
