Kane said: “The most important thing for us was putting pressure back on Chelsea. We knew what it was like last year with Leicester playing before us and even last weekend with the way the fixture fell. It’s difficult.
“Hopefully we can get that win and put that pressure on. We have to try to drop the gap to one point and see what happens.
“We have four games in front of us and we feel like we can win all four. We feel we can beat anyone.” probably thought we would drop points, so to win both games is very significant.

Middlesbrough are Chelsea’s next opponents this coming Monday – a game in which they could start with their lead cut to just one point should Tottenham beat West Ham on Friday night.
Pochettino’s men have kept the pressure on Chelsea with nine successive league victories. But the Blues believe they have overcome the at Stamford Bridge mini-blip that saw their title lead slashed from 10 points to four during April as they lost to Crystal Palace and Manchester United.
