Julia has twin tips for George

-

IF GEORGE CLOONEY and wife Amal think they are in for an easy ride when their twins are born, they are in for a shock, according to close pal Julia Roberts.

“There’s no such thing as wisdom when you have twin babies in the house – just hopes and prayers and tears and holding on tight to each other,” said the Pretty Woman star, 49, who is speaking from experience as mum to 12-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel as well as son Henry, nine.

Monuments Men star George, 56, and his human rights lawyer wife, 39, announced earlier this year that they are expecting their first children together, reportedly due any minute.

Julia made the comments on US TV where she was joined by her Notting Hill director and Comic Relief co-founder Richard Curtis to promote an American version of the British charity.

Julia, pictured left with George, will be joining another Brit, TV adventurer Bear Grylls delivering life-saving vaccines to children in Kenya in the Red Nose Day special screened on US channel NBC tonight. She said: “The best part about getting to go is to see what actually happens. They see the problems. They see where solutions can happen. And then you see the solutions take place and kids’ lives change. It’s really inspiring and empowering and it certainly does refresh one’s gratitude.”
