Amelia, 5, beats teachers at spelling
A GIRL aged five turned the tables on her teachers by pointing out a spelling error on a homework assignment before marking her own answers.
Matching words with pictures, star reader Amelia Hallows quickly spotted that “deer” had been spelt “dear” on a worksheet she had been given.
Amelia, of Atherton, Greater Manchester, who has been reading since three, then marked her own correct answers.
Proud mother-of-two Rebecca Hallows, 24, said: “She’s a stickler for spelling – she’s got that from me.”
