ALEX Oxlade-Chamberlai­n has been warming up for the FA Cup final by watching Dani Alves for tips on how to master the art of the wing-back.

OxladeCham­berlain, right, did not play in Arsenal’s 2014 final win over Hull because of injury and made only the briefest of cameos 12 months later when they beat Aston Villa. After recovering from a hamstring problem this week he hopes to start against Chelsea, having studied footage of Juventus star Alves. Oxlade-Chamberlai­n has flourished at wing-back since manager Arsene Wenger’s recent switch to a Chelsea-style three-man defence. He said: “They may not be playing five at the back recently but when Alves plays he marches on and adds a lot attacking as well as his defensive play. You watch and learn from people like that.” JOSE MOURINHO claims he is still “a nobody” compared to Manchester United legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Matt Busby.

Mourinho ended his first season as United boss with a hat-trick of trophies by adding the Europa League to the League Cup and Community Shield.

The win over Ajax was his fourth European trophy and 25th of his managerial career.

But at Old Trafford he feels dwarfed by the achievemen­ts of Busby and Ferguson, who both managed United for more than a quarter of a century.
