Named: Jealous girl and boyfriend who butchered her mum and sister
A TEENAGE schoolgirl devoured by hatred and jealousy of her mother and younger sister encouraged her teenage boyfriend to slaughter them in their beds, it can now be revealed.
The pair – both 14 at the time of the brutal killings – are believed to be the youngest double murderers in UK criminal history.
Kim Edwards decided to “get rid of ” Elizabeth Edwards, 49, and her sister Katie, 13, after years of resentment over their close relationship.
An order banning the media from revealing the now 15-year-old couple’s identity was yesterday lifted by three judges at London’s Court of Appeal.
After two failed attempts, Kim Edwards smuggled knife-wielding lover Lucas Markham into the family home in Spalding, Lincs, and then waited in a bathroom as the boy launched his savage attacks.
Markham first targeted school dinner-lady Elizabeth in her bed, slitting her throat then stabbing her repeatedly in the neck with an eightinch kitchen knife before smothering her with a pillow.
He then crept into Katie’s room and carried out an identical attack on the helpless teenager as she slept.
They had planned to commit suicide, but instead bathed, had sex and watched Twilight while eating treats and drinking pop.

Kim Edwards – who remains “glad” her mother is dead – was convicted of murder after a jury ruled she was not suffering from a mental condition.
Markham asked her out in May 2015, prompting Kim Edwards to claim she was “free and felt happy for once”.
But her mother was horrified and banned him from their house as Markham reminded her of Kim Edwards’s estranged father.
It was the mother’s attempts to split the couple which sparked the murders in April last year.
Peter Joyce QC, prosecuting, said: “She [Kim Edwards] only had to say no and it would never, ever have happened. She could have stopped him.”
The killers were jailed for minimum of 20 years by trial judge Mr Justice Haddon-Cave who said the case had “few parallels in modern criminal history”.
But the appeal judges yesterday reduced that tariff to 17d years.
