The happy face of newly-wed Diana
A REMARKABLE collection of snaps has emerged showing a young Princess Diana, Charles and the Royals in a shooting party.
They date from the early 1980s and reveal a relaxed couple in the early years of their marriage.
The photographs belonged to the late housekeeper at Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park, west London, home of Princess Alexandra, the Queen's cousin, and were found by her son after her death.
In one image Diana wears a country coat as she smiles into the camera. In another with Viscount Linley, she holds a folding chair while Charles leans on a walking stick.
The pictures will be auctioned by Littletons of Evesham, Worcs, today.
