LETTE THE TOUR BEGIN

NOVELIST and socialite Kathy Lette is turning her hand to stand-up comedy at the age of 58 and is about to embark on her first live one-woman tour.

The pun-loving Australian-born writer has confirmed she will perform 16 dates between July and November.

Her Girl’s Night Out tour is billed as “a psychological striptease taking us from (her first novel) Puberty Blues to menopause blues, with tales of love, lust, men, marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, mastitis, sexist bosses, teenage-daughterwrangling, ageing, toy boys, making the Queen laugh, hiding Julian Assange in her attic and close encounters of the George Clooney kind, en route”.
