Resort, theme park and zoo
The Resort has a wide variety of luxury holiday homes, or you may prefer to upgrade to the brick built cottages in the Signature Collection with hot tubs, plus there is also an extensive campsite. Staying guests have exclusive use of the newly refurbished leisure complex with swimming pool and flumes, 9 hole golf course and entertainment Club. With 8 extreme rides, there is plenty to keep the thrill seekers entertained, including the record breaking Mumbo Jumbo (Guinness World Record breaker for steepest roller coaster 2009). In addition there is a great choice of junior and family rides, especially in the dinosaur themed Dino-Stone Park.
Flamingo Land has 140 species of reptiles, mammals and birds in their award winning animal collection. A variety of Keeper Talks plus sea lion and bird shows are included within your admission. Keep an eye out for the 2 new Rothschild giraffe babies, and the zebra calf. Their new rainbow lorikeet walk-in aviary has also now opened, where you can buy a pot of nectar to feed these brightly coloured birds.
What’s coming up this summer
A two-storey Hub entertainment complex has now opened and features the Upper Deck fish & chip restaurant with adjacent HMS Bouncy soft play area and takeaway counter. This leads onto an outdoor balcony where you can enjoy your refreshments whilst admiring the view of roller coasters and the Splosh water area. For those visiting from the end of July, the new ‘Flamingo 1’ go kart family racing cars and the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground will be open.
