Glastonbury kicks off without the mud!
HIGH jinx for two girls yesterday as they join the fun in the sun waiting for the start of the Glastonbury Festival.
But not everyone enjoyed the party and paramedics treated dozens for heat stroke. With thousands arriving, some braved the heat for three-and-a-half hours after delays because of security.
Some women donned bikinis as they queued while others had water fights.
The advice to all was take plenty of water, wear a hat and use suncream. And of course wellies can be useful as the Somerset site gets notoriously muddy if predicted rain arrives.
