BBC bias storm over focus on Corbyn at Glastonbury

“These days they don’t even bother to hide it – probably because such a high number of their staff live in Corbyn’s constituency,” he said.

“The BBC is simply the UK equivalent of CNN, which would be fine if we weren’t all forced to pay for their Left-wing bias through the licence fee.”

Earlier, former Ukip leader Nigel Farage branded the BBC’s coverage of Mr Corbyn’s speech “outrageous”. “Why should we pay the BBC licence fee just so they can promote Jeremy Corbyn?” he tweeted.

Referring to the crowd, the Ukip MEP added: “Have this lot had a look at what they’re actually supporting? Google ‘Marxism’.”

They will seize any opportunity to get Theresa May out. Jeremy Corbyn at Glastonbury is a typical example of their behaviour. The BBC is out of control.”

Tory MP Andrew Bridgen added: “The BBC will do everything they can to get their hero Jeremy Corbyn into Downing Street.

“Now with things like this year’s Glastonbury, more blatant.

“If the BBC give it one more push, we will end up with a Marxist in No 10.”

A BBC spokesman said: “Glastonbury chose to have Jeremy Corbyn as a guest.

“His appearance was not screened in the BBC at Glastonbury programmes but like other news outlets BBC News reported his speech.” it’s becoming ever
