INJURED tennis ace Novak Djokovic is embracing his enforced lay-off – and believes it is a blessing from God.
The former world number one says he is revelling in spending time with his heavily pregnant wife Jelena and two-year-old son Stefan.
The Serb, 30, said: “Everything that is happening in life, is happening for a reason.
“I’m going to try to use this time the best way I can and spend it with my family.

“In about a month Jelena and me, with God’s help, are going to become parents again.
“It looks like this had to happen and it was God’s message, ‘now it’s enough’.”
The 12-time Grand Slam winner has been forced to take the rest of the year off due to an elbow injury that also ended his run at Wimbledon this summer.
The injured elbow that forced him to withdraw from his quarter final at SW19 had been troubling him for 18 months and doctors have said the only cure is rest.
The philosophical sportsman added: “Everything that happened to me, and there were tons of beautiful things, family and tennis-related, can waste energy. In a nice way, but they can drain you.”
To prove his point Djokovic has been posting photos of himself relaxing in the countryside with his family.
A photo of his son is captioned: “The world with the eyes of a two-year-old brings so much colour to it.”
Announcing his enforced period of rest in July, Djokovic said: “My body has its limits and I have to respect that.
“I will use the upcoming period to strengthen my body and also to improve certain tennis elements.
“Another important moment is coming, my wife and I are expecting our second child. These are things that fill me with the greatest happiness and delight. I’m confident I will be ready for the start of the new season.”
