COLEEN Rooney put aside her marriage troubles yesterday as she proudly tweeted pictures of her middle son’s first day at school.
The pregnant mother-ofthree jetted back from her Mallorca holiday on Friday to confront husband Wayne about his drink-drive antics.
Coleen, 31, was left shattered when the Everton striker allegedly “kissed and hugged” a woman during a night out last week.
She was so furious at his version of events she stormed out of the family £6million home in Prestbury, Cheshire, and took sons Kai, seven, Klay, four, and one-year-old Kit to her parents house in Merseyside.
Yesterday Wayne drove his black Range Rover into training for an expected dressing down from manager Ronald Koeman for his late-night exploits.
At the same time proud Coleen put on a brave face as she tweeted pictures of smartly jacketed middle son on his first day at school. She wrote: “Big school for my gorgeous Klay!!”

Klay has started at The Ryleys School in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, where fees are £3,420 per term for reception to Year 2.
Wayne, 31, was stopped by Cheshire Police in Alderley Edge as he drove Laura Simpson, 29, home in her VW Beetle.
The multi-millionaire footballer and the single mother had been in the Bubbleroom bar in Alderley Edge before moving to a nightclub in Wilmslow.
But after chatting up Miss Simpson, he was stopped by police early on Friday while allegedly over the limit – as one of her brake lights was faulty.
The Everton star will appear in court in Stockport on September 18, charged with drinkdriving.
Yesterday Rooney was still wearing his wedding ring when he drove into Everton’s training ground in Liverpool.
But it is claimed angry Coleen has stopped wearing her £250,000 diamond ring as she decides whether or not to forgive his latest dalliance.
Coleen was pregnant with Kai in 2010 when Wayne slept with prostitutes Jenny Thompson and Helen Wood.
His wife is now said to have been left distraught after a string of tawdry claims by party girl Miss Simpson and to have asked her husband: “How many girls are there?”
A friend said: “Coleen is still in turmoil and doesn’t believe Wayne’s story.”
Coleen is said to have yelled at her husband: “How could you do this to me while I’m pregnant?
“How could you be so stupid? Klay yesterday, left, and Wayne leaving training wearing his wedding ring. Right, Coleen and, below, Simpson The world is laughing at me because of you.”
Miss Simpson, of Irlam, near Manchester, admitted she would have slept with Rooney if he had not been arrested.
She said on Monday that Coleen should forgive the former England striker, adding: “She can’t blame him for anything that happened with me because nothing did really. It was only harmless fun.”
Coleen rang Miss Simpson last weekend demanding to know “the truth”, with the clubber later revealing: “I was caught up in the moment. I wasn’t thinking about his wife at the time and nor was he.
“I can see it looks bad but it wasn’t really and she must be mad at me and him.”
Miss Simpson, who has a £40,000-a-year job at a property development firm, said before the awkward phone call Coleen tried to “friend” her on social media.
She added: “I can understand she’s curious about me and furious but I don’t really want her checking me out, so I deleted the request.”
