Thrill of The Chase leaves Mastermind Forsyth cold

MUCH as I admire the Frederick Forsyth column and generally agree with his views, I do not agree with him about The Chase (“Fame chasers have ruined TV quiz shows”, September 8).

Although there is a small amount of modern pop-culture questions there is a wide and varied range of other questions.

As for the host Bradley Walsh, he is the most down-to-earth of presenters. Perhaps Freddie should stick with Mastermind.
