Federici move gets top Mark
NOTTINGHAM Forest manager Mark Warburton has praised Bournemouth after they agreed to rescind the loan of goalkeeper Adam Federici to the Championship club.
Australian Federici, 32, joined Forest on deadline day in a deal that was set to run until mid-January.
However, while on international duty with the Socceroos, Federici suffered a knee injury that will require surgery. He is set to begin his rehabilitation back at the Vitality Stadium. Warburton said: “We have sent Adam our best wishes for his recovery, but Bournemouth have basically rescinded the loan and taken their player back. That is a magnificent gesture on their part.
“The focus is on the health and well-being of the player.
“I would expect nothing less from somebody like Eddie Howe and his club in general but I want to say how outstanding they have been in dealing with this.
“We are very thankful about the way they have acted throughout this entire process.”
