JAKE WANTS LICENCE TO PLAY BOND

HE’D PROBABLY better join the back of an already lengthy queue but Jake Gyllenhaal is the latest name to confirm he wants to play James Bond when Daniel Craig eventually hangs up his gun. “I think any actor anywhere would be lying if they said they didn’t want to play James Bond,” says Jake, 36, who is promoting new film Stronger, out later this month.

Although to be fair he does admit he’s not exactly joining the likes of Tom Hardy and Poldark star Aidan Turner as one of the frontrunners: “I’m a huge fan and it would be a huge thrill to play an iconic character like that. But somehow I think it’s pretty unlikely to happen.”
