Don’t pity Branson after he turned his back on UK

SHOULD we really be feeling sorry for Sir Richard Branson (“Branson: My isle got ferocious hit”, September 12)?

So his private island has been hit by a hurricane. He has plenty of cash available for him to rebuild his luxurious retreat.

It is the people who work for him on Necker that I feel sorry for, not him. He has made a fortune, turned his back on living in Britain and then has the nerve to criticise the electorate of this country for daring to vote to leave the European Union.
