Coming to terms with this commercial interrupti­on

AS a regular listener to radio I’ve noticed lately the adverts, mostly for cars, have to have a long spiel at the end of each which is getting longer and faster, giving terms and conditions. It is becoming most annoying. I love the radio but often end up going back to my CDs.

Why can they not just say “terms and conditions apply”? If I was a on Room 101, this would be my first choice to go.
