Same-sex issue shouldn’t be pushed in our faces
I HAVE to totally agree with the comments of Ann Widdecombe regarding same-sex partners in Strictly Come Dancing (“Saturday night no place for awkward questions”, September 12).
I and many of my friends have watched the show for years. It’s good family entertainment but if the BBC allows this to happen I’m afraid I will be among the many switch-offs.
I’m not homophobic and fully understand that if a person is born that way that’s the way they want to live but I’m fed up of it being pushed in our faces.
All the soaps and entertainment programmes bring it to the fore. When are they going to realise that they are in the minority and the majority rules?
