Barmaid faces jail over sex session in pizza takeaway
A COUPLE have been warned they face jail for engaging in a sex session in a takeaway pizza shop while staff worked just feet away.
Daniella Hirst, 29, was captured by CCTV cameras performing a sex act on 31-yearold builder Craig Smith as he mused over what to order.
The pair then had full intercourse against the counter of the Domino’s pizza takeaway in Scarborough while the unsuspecting kitchen staff prepared dishes.
The tryst was spotted on a security camera recording. Police subsequently learned their identity and the couple, from Bridlington, were charged with outraging public decency.
Yesterday appearing before Scarborough magistrates court, barmaid Hirst pleaded guilty, while Smith – who is in prison relating to other matters – was found guilty in his absence following a 30-minute trial.
The evidence consisted almost exclusively of the 18-minute footage filmed shortly before 11pm on February 25 after the pair entered Domino’s pizza.
It showed them ordering food – a 12-inch stuffed crust pepperoni pizza – before having sex.
Chairwoman of the bench Angela Beardshall, adjourning sentencing until October 17, warned a prison sentence was a possibility.
She said: “A great deal of the acts were lewd, obscene and disgusting.
“We view this offence as so serious that it passes the custody threshold.”
