Ignore the Brexit delaying tactics and leave EU now
THERESA May is right to work hard for our EU exit but I fear simply bypassing Michel Barnier and Jean-Claude Juncker won’t help one jot (“May’s big push for EU exit”, September 21).
The only way to block their scheming, delaying tactics is to pull the plug on our membership now and do any negotiating from a position of strength and that is one where we are out of the EU.
After all, as your article points out, the Prime Minister can still do deals with the rest of the EU membership, as they need us as much as we need them.
The EU hierarchy has no intention of letting us go quietly during exit negotiations.
With those two out of the way there will just be two more with the same objective and that is to prevent Great Britain from leaving the European Union.
