- By Gillian Crawley

Chizzy is all smiles in her Strictly dance-off with Pasha but tearful with Tess Daly, right CHIZZY Akudolu became the first celebrity to be knocked out of Strictly Come Dancing after losing the dance-off to Brian Conley last night.

The Holby City star joked that she had had such fun dancing with her partner Pasha Kovalev that she plans to dance with him “in private” now that her show is over.

As she bowed out, Chizzy, 43, said: “Thank you to everyone who has supported.

“And this guy... this dude. I have loved every minute dancing with him and it will continue because I will just be going round his house to dance now. But I don’t have his address so if anyone could email me I would appreciate it.”

Pasha, 37, said: “You were so much fun to work with. All the laughs we had together, all the great dancing we did together, I absolutely enjoyed every single second of it. And fine, come over to my house.”

As the lowest scorers in the contest, Chizzy and comedian and TV presenter Brian, 56, were obliged to perform their routines again for judges Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas.

Chizzy and Pasha danced their foxtrot to I’m A Woman by Peggy Lee. Brian and Amy Dowden performed their cha-cha-cha to Shake Your Groove Thing by Peaches and Herb.

Craig chose to save Chizzy and Pasha and Darcey and Bruno voted for Brian and Amy.

Head judge Shirley used her casting vote for Brian and Amy. She said: “It’s quite a difficult decision.” Saturday night’s Strictly on BBC One was the most-watched show that evening with an average of 9.3 million viewers.

The remaining 14 couples will take to the dance floor in a show dedicated to Hollywood next Saturday. Chizzy and Pasha appear on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two at 6.30pm on BBC Two today.
