Watmore’s return can lift Grayson

DUNCAN WATMORE’S resumption of firstteam football may be the boost Sunderland and manager Simon Grayson need to spark a revival.

Watmore’s first appearance since suffering a cruciate ligament injury in December coincided with the Black Cats securing a deserved 2-2 draw against Preston as pressure was eased on under-fire boss Grayson.
