7 types of bad drivers identified

SO-CALLED “amber gamblers” and schoolrun mums have been identified alongside “boy racers” as some of Britain’s worst drivers.

While young males driving aggressively are an accepted motoring menace, a new study claims poor drivers fall into six other categories.

Website LeaseCar.uk reported that Amber Gamblers, who speed up if traffic lights change from green in order to try to beat the red light, figure highly. Another category is Mums-InA-Hurry, “who think nothing of leaving the engine running on double-yellow lines or mounting a kerb while collecting their children”.

Other categories are Sunday Drivers, Just Passed, Know-It-Alls and, perhaps the most dangerous, Short Fuses.
