QUIZ GIVES RIGHT ANSWERS ON REVENUE
INTERNATIONAL expansion and broadening clothing ranges boosted half-year revenue at fashion retailer Quiz by more than a third.
The Scottish-based business, which specialises in occasion wear, left, and dressy casual for “fashion forward” women and which floated in July on London’s Aim market with a £200million valuation, trebled online sales as it posted a 35 per cent rise in revenue to £56.1million.
It opened three stores in Madrid to complement its new Spanish website and has grown its international franchise operations from 65 to 76 including new units in Dubai and Morocco.
Sales at its UK standalone stores and concessions were up 15 per cent to £32.3million.
Chief executive Tarak Ramzan said: “Our customer base is growing strong and we are confident of delivering further growth.”
